VIDEO

Hi guys: For the next class, the theme will be Video. Everyone of you will search for relevant information about the use of videos in class. You will be required to search through the web about the theme to complete the google docs in the following link VIDEO. These are only three sites. http://cynthiasparks.tripod.com/effective_use_of_video_in_the_cl.htm http://www.edutopia.org/youtube-educational-videos-classroom http://www.edutopia.org/youtube-classroom-teaching Everyone will have to focus on a different aspect, no one can repeat the source or theme to complete the google docs, it will be first come, first served. You will be required to explain your class with a visual (Eg. ppt) Thank you, Ms. Vicky Treviño

I don't know if we should write a comment about last class but I will just in case (:

Some studies have discovered the effect of music in classroom. It increases concentration, keeps students in a calm mood, increases scores in exams, etc. The most recognized music for intelectual development is the Mozart's.

Music, is one of the most popular tool that teachers can use... Music make a tranquilize effect in students, or, if the class is quiet and passive, we can involve students to listen and feel the passion of the music, for me, music is passion, our mud changes because of music, is we are calm, disco music can activate our system, and so in the educational matter, our brain is connected with the music chanel. Is amaizing what music can do with our brains. That´s why I can hardly recomend the usage of music in every classroom.

last Saturday we saw all the effects caused by the music in the classroom, is incredible how can work the "mozart effect" in our students, they have all the facility to learn more, and improve their knowledge, by the sound..
Music is another step to get into your students.

I didn't know if we were supposed to write a comment but i'll do it right now just in case

Music in the classroom is valuable to get our students in the learning mood. The Mozart effect is an example helping them to concentrate and learn more efficiently. Many different activities can be developed using music like lyric completion and listening activities.
